I am married to an Antiguan-born, and we are proud to call Antigua "Home". I feel honored and privileged to be part of this innovative school named "Children's Academy Antigua".

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education-Magna Cum Laude from FIU (Florida International University, USA). I am passionate about all aspects of education; Therefore, I expanded my knowledge by pursuing certifications in Gifted Education, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), World Languages/Spanish, and Early Childhood Education. Besides my certifications, I have experience working in different grade levels and curriculums such as the PYP-IB Program, Bilingual Education, Gifted, inclusion, Play Based Learning, Sunshine State Standards, Common Core, Regio Emilia, and Special Education, and a variety of intervention programs. Throughout my career, I have been exposed to all sides of the educational field, and I am glad to bring these experiences to our beautiful island of Antigua.

Besides being a dedicated educator, I enjoy painting, reading, and traveling with my family. My priority for pursuing happiness is living a positive, healthy, and meaningful life. I am a proactive leader and a reliable team player, always finding the positive side of every situation. I am delighted to be part of this community and to play an essential role in your child's education and future. We hope our school meet your expectations and we can positively impact your child's lifelong love for learning. Welcome to Children's Academy Antigua!

Meet Our Amazing Teachers:

Aunty Courtni

Hello everyone; my name is Courtni Williams. I was born and raised on a small island call Antigua & Barbuda. My background and language is English. I always had a passion to be around children, like playing games with them or teaching them anything exciting and fun. I am a very outgoing person, and I love to meet new people. I studied Early Childhood Education at Seneca College in Toronto, Canada, and I received my Certificate there. I am happy to be part of the Children's Academy team, and I will ensure your child/children feels comfortable and have an enjoyable experience with us. I also want to welcome you to our school "Children's Academy Antigua."

Aunty Simone

My name is Simone George. I am an Antiguan national. I am also the mother of two lovely boys-Akeem (18) and Andre (10). I graduated from the Clare Hall Secondary School in (1999). My love for teaching and children led me subsequently to the Early Childhood Development Unit, where I graduated in (2015). A few of my hobbies include: listening to music, watching a good movie, and spending time with my family.

I firmly believe that Early Childhood, according to (Maria Montessori) is the key to the betterment of society. In this respect, it is my aim to ensure that each child achieves the necessary developmental skills through learning to make invaluable contributions later in life. This is the basis of my motivation and passion as an Early Childhood professional. I am pleased to be a part of the Children’s Academy family, where I can grow as an emerging professional.
